Johann Sebastian Bach · 1748–49 · B minor · 49 bars · 57 chords analysed

Bach assembled his monumental Mass at the very end of his life, partly from earlier cantatas, and never heard it complete. Its 24 movements range from five-part choruses with trumpets to intimate arias. This is the full orchestral and choral score.
